FOUNDATION

Aristide Merloni founds the “Industrie Merloni” company in the Marche Region of Italy, and starts the production of weighing scales.
1960

WATER HEATING

Our brand is launched and the production of electric water heaters begins.
1980

HEATING

We consolidate our market leadership in water heating and the production of boilers begins.
1990

GLOBAL EXPANSION

With our launch in China and Russia, we start our evolution into a global brand.

RENEWABLES

We successfully develop and launch our new model in heat pump, which marks our development into innovative and sustainable heating technology.

In order to successfully reflect the mission of the company to bring comfort where it seems impossible to achieve, Ariston launches “the Ariston Comfort Challenge”; the first global campaign for the brand that best expresses the group's core values: Innovation, comfort, energy sustainability and efficiency.

90TH ANNIVERSARY

Ariston is one of the most important brands of the Ariston Thermo Group which this year turns 90 years.
In 1930, the Group accepted the challenge of making the world a more comfortable place while focusing on the environment.
Today, the Group renews its commitment by putting energy efficiency at the heart of our sustainable growth strategy.
More than 40% of its investments are directed towards researching and developing solutions using energy from renewable sources.
