Duyen Hai 3 Thermal Power Plant Project (located in Duyen Hai Power Center, Tra Vinh) is a coal-fired thermal power plant with a capacity of 1,245 MW, including 2 units and ancillary items according to the Development Plan national electricity development for the period 2006-2015 with a vision to 2025. The investment, construction and operation of the plant is to ensure electricity supply for the national power system, ensure energy security and reduce the amount of electricity transmitted from the North.
