1. Your gas water heater won’t start
When a gas water heater doesn’t start working, it’s usually due to very simple reasons: , such as lack of connection to the power system or activation of the water heater’s safety lock. In such cases it might be sufficient to switch off and switch on again after a few minutes. If the problem persists, it’s advisable to contact one of our technicians.
2. It doesn’t heat the water enough
Another very frequent problem in gas water heaters is difficulty in heating domestic water: in this case the malfunction is often due to the water pressure, which should be between 1.5 and 2 bar in optimal conditions. To restore the pressure to the correct value it’s sufficient to operate the regulation valve. To avoid damage to the heater and safety problems, we advise following the indications given in the instruction booklet.
3. It stops
It may happen that the gas water heater suddenly stops, in which case we first make sure there is no leakage of gas and then consult the instruction booklet to see if any locking system has come into operation. Here too, it may simply be a question of low pressure, which should not exceed 2 bar.
